Forum Policy
- Registered users are automatically admitted to the FMT Forum and may post comments, questions, solutions and announcements.
- Posts must be restricted to the subject matter of this site, which is the use of the Forest Management Toolkit in the context of QGIS, Earth Observation data and products, forest management and forestry data analysis, forest conservation and monitoring, forest certification and similar issues.
- Completely irrelevant posts are likely to be removed. Posts which are partially relevant may be edited without notification to the author. Persistently posting irrelevant material may result in suspension of a user.
- Posting of generally offensive material, material that breaches copyright, flaming or abuse of other users, content that is in any way illegal, or links to sites which are offensive or promote any kind of illegal activity will result in posts being edited or removed, and depending on severity of the instance, suspension of user access.
- Users are invited to contact the webmaster (post@denisalder.com) if they find any posts which they think unsuitable for this site. Please quote the post ID number.
- Users are asked to post material that is relevant to a Topic heading. If it is not, they should start a new Topic.
- The webmaster may move posts to inappropriate topics to another topic, or start a new topic thread. If done, this will be notified on the forum itself.
- Topic titles should be technically specific and not padded with meaningless language (eg I would be grateful for some help is poor compared with Help with SAR products for West Africa). Bad topic titles may be revised without notification to the originator.
- The summary listing of posts under a topic shows only the first two lines. Please try to concentrate relevant keywords in your first sentence to assist the usability of the Forum.
- This version of the FMT website is in English and the language for posts should therefore be in English.
- Please contact the webmaster (post@denisalder.com) if you have any suggestions that will improve the usability of the Forum.
